Most women don’t want to talk about what they weigh because they are usually embarrassed by the number. Personally, I don’t weight myself because I don’t see the point in monitoring the number that is supposed to sum up what my body looks like when a mirror speaks a thousand words.  If I like what I see, I don’t change anything about my food or exercise.  If I don’t like what I see, I will increase the intensity of my workouts for a few days and make better food choices, it’s just common sense.  That’s the balance part of the Skinny Healthy Girl Lifestyle, it’s really that simple.  When you try on a pair of jeans, you don’t look at them in a scale do you?  You look at them in a mirror, right? You want to see how they look on your body and if they look great and you’re happy, what does a number really matter?

Most women I know talk constantly about how they need to lose weight.  They are so focused on a number that they get overwhelmed and after a short period of time when they don’t make their goal weight they give up.  A lot of women tend to go on the forbidden “diet” for a few months trying to drop pounds fast and then eventually dive right back into their old routines while feeling disappointed in themselves.  You have heard it a million times, diets don’t work, change works, passion works, lifestyle works.  It’s not about getting skinny, it’s about believing in yourselfbalancing your life and becoming your absolute best.  I am not only an incurable optimist believing that you can do anything that you set your mind to, I am also a Skinny Healthy Girl and I am ready to share my mantra with you.
