Jillian Michaels ‘Hard Body’ DVD: My new favorite workout!



Those of you who know me are well aware of how much I love Jillian Michaels workout DVD’s.  She certainly knows how to create effective time efficient workouts with exercises that torch calories and transform bodies.  Some of my favorites like Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred, Yoga Inferno and Ripped in 30 do just that.

I didn’t think that there was another move or sequence of exercises that Jillian could come up with, it seemed as if she’d done them all.  Boy was I wrong!  This week I had the opportunity to try both 45-minute workouts on her new exercise DVD, ‘Jillian Michaels Hard Body’ and they instantly become my new favorite workouts!

With my commitment to exercise and all of the Jillian Michaels workouts that I already do religiously, I consider myself to be in very good shape.  Not just in how I look, but more importantly my cardiovascular health and physical strength.  I run a few days a week, strength train and practice yoga often, but with all of that ‘Jillian Michaels Hard Body’ was extremely challenging for me and I loved it.

Thinking ‘Hard Body’ would be a breeze, I started with workout 2 and quickly realized that maybe I’m not in as good of shape as I thought I was.  But then realized how exciting it was to have a workout to push me to the next level.  Both ‘Jillian Michaels Hard Body’ workouts are made up of almost entirely new exercises, moves I’ve never done, which made it a lot of fun.

‘Jillian Michaels Hard Body’ is an incredible workout, one that I HIGHLY recommend to everyone.  She offers modifications for both beginners and advanced so you don’t have to be incredible shape to do it and it’s impossible to get bored because you can always make it more difficult.  I can honestly say that ‘Jillian Michaels Hard Body’ is my new favorite workout DVD!
