Waiting until you’re hungry to eat.

We have to eat to survive, there’s no doubt about that, but if we wait until we are hungry to find food, it’s almost always going to be an unhealthy choice. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, you should always be thinking of the next meal and what you’re going to eat so there’s no additional stress added to your busy schedule when it comes to mealtime. Dinner can be the most challenging because you usually have to feed more than just yourself and it’s a busy time of the day. Yes, you should go out to dinner and enjoy yourself whenever possible. But, when doing so, again, go with some type of a plan. It’s rare that I will ever walk into a restaurant without pulling up the menu on my phone beforehand. Not only do I get caught up in conversation and struggle to focus on the menu when I’m out to dinner, but I sometimes feel pressured and end up ordering something that’s incredibly unhealthy while blowing my whole week of smart choices. In addition, do not go out to dinner on an empty stomach because you will for sure regret your choices and will probably end up overeating. Prepare yourself for everything.
